IMAGINE A NEW WORLD

Imagine a world

We are more than what we seem. We are light beings who are co-creators. We create. We create the life we choose. We create the world we choose. We create . We create the universe we choose. We are creating everything we are experiencing Right now.

Can we imagine and dream a world of peace? Can we imagine a world of light and grace? Can we imagine a world of joy and love?

Imagine a world so beautiful the colors vibrate with music. Imagine a world that sings in harmony with every person, animal, flower, tree, stream, river, ocean, breeze, and element.

Imagine a world so filled with peace the lions lick your hand and nuzzle your leg as you go on safari. Imagine a world with on need of zoos and vets. Imagine a world without war. Where we loved all life together. A world filled with joy at its highest vibration. Imagine a world without borders. Where we trusted our neighbors so much we no longer need police officers and armies.

Imagine a world so filled with light there is no need for the sun. A world that emitted light from every flower, tree and blade of grass. Imagine a world where thought was an immediate action. Where we blessed one another continually and all our hopes and dreams were for the best for all.

Imagine a world that vibrated in harmony with the cosmos. Where the music of the universe could be felt and heard. A world where every breath filled us with health and life. Where the waters were so pure, fish could be seen swimming even into the bottom of the ocean. Waters from the deep that knew when to moisten the soil and feed the plant life.

Imagine a world that loved the earth mother. Imagine a world that no longer needed protection. Imagine a world that knew everyone was perfect. Where Justice and liberty was a natural course of being. Where every person emitted inner light and love like waves of perfume.

America’s Undertow

Something is wrong in America:

When policemen completely dismiss the concern of parents over the murders of their sons and explode in “righteous indignation” at the assassination of two of their own.

When an entire race of people are treated with disdain and when someone wants to speak about it, it is dismissed as the ” race card”.

When the “powers that be” set up systems and institutions that incarcerate our children, husbands and fathers on a whelm and call it “Equal Justice Under The Law”.

When “children” are afraid of those who should be there to protect them.

When “Apartide” is not something “over there” but is practiced silently right here in our “Homeland” by other names:

Separate but equal
voucher systems
Ghettos
Prison (can you say Slave Labor)
Youth camps
Religion
Job Interviews
Access
Inequality, the list goes on…

When “The Powers That Be” keep secrets that “we the people” have “voted them into office” to make sure are not kept from us.

When we are lied to and our interests are not carried out in the way we have been told they would be during election years.

When the rich have become so rich, everyone else is dismissed as “gad-flies” and completely ignored by those who want the last bit of dignity the people hold.

When other countries can claim our land, water, oil, rights and whatever the “Powers That Be” decide to give them and we have only the President to protect us.

When the air we breath poisons us and our water catches on fire and our food is made in a laboratory.

When we have lost “faith” in our Spiritual Leaders.

When all the people are still talking about who “matters” in the year 2015.

We the people need to wake up and recognize true power is vested in the people, but the people MUST speak out.

We must not be silenced just because someone made sure a “union boss” would be the tool they used to try and out shout you in the “guise” that he thinks his issue outweighs yours.

We must not be silenced just because “they” have kept the status quo in tact all these centuries. If ants can move a rubber tree plant, we should be able to move “The Powers That Be”.

These are just some of the things that are pulling at the foundation of this country. We are more alike than we are different but we fear what we don’t understand. If someone tells you the same thing over and over again, you might begin to believe them until you see for yourself it wasn’t true.

We must question everything. Discover the truth for yourself. Find out what the so called “other” is really like. You may be pleasantly surprised.

WHAT ARE WE AFRAID OF?

Image

When I awoke this morning a thought crossed my mind.  After a conversation with my oldest son, I realized that a single impression of an event in ones life can color everything else that happens after that.  Not just an opinion about the outcome, but a person’s perspective of what took place.  We establish an ‘expectation’ to repeat that experience, and  what we ‘expect’ is usually what we get.  We are not perfect beings and if we are honest, at times, we are often not even nice beings.  We use what we have in our hands to the best of our ability and the information we have.  Unfortunately, some of us only see what we have been trained by experience to see and that often is not the real picture.  We establish fears of what will happen next, instead if creating what we want to happen next.  We begin to expect the same result from different situations mimicking the result that our previous experience has demonstrated to us would happen.  We are afraid to trust that this  time could be different, and so its not to us even if, in reality, it is.

What are we afraid if?  Being disappointed, being tricked, being used.  Somewhere along the way we have to break this mindset that keeps us in a vicious circle of self sabotage.  Whatever it is that has happened in our past that was so hurtful that it has colored the way we see the world.  Whatever we did that hurt someone so deeply, that we can’t stop reliving that thing over and over again, needs to be let go.  Someone once told me, the way you get over something, is to replace it with something else.  We need to use that advice in releasing what we don’t want in our lives and replacing it with what we do want.  This sounds simplistic and I don’t mean for it to.  Because I have things I need to release, and as my son says, “Let go of it”.
